Gender based violence has become a serious issue in Central Kenya and our leaders training at Mathira East sub county that’s started on 11th August and ending this Friday 15th is meant to create awareness and mobilize leaders to take a lead in taking action again the vice.
Awareness on lifestyle diseases has also been mainstreamed in the sessions because preventable non communicable diseases has become an issue in these villages as well
Participants are expected to be trainer of trainers to reach out and create awareness at every opportunity .
During the training participants have taken advantage of the sub county ACC visit to the area and they have been able to speak at his public forum on these critical issues and have gained useful practical experience .
